Implementation Project Manager
JOB SUMMARY
The primary responsibility of the Implementation Project Manager is to import suppliers, contacts, and invoices for Fortune 500 clients into the Pollenware saas-based cash management platform using light integration techniques to connect to legacy systems and processes.
The position calls for a penchant for urgency and a bias for action. Tight time lines are frequent and involve motivating heavily taxed resources outside of the organization. All projects must be leveled internally against time and resource budgets.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
PROJECT RESPONSIBILITIES
- Creates and executes project plan revising where necessary to meet customer needs.
- Schedule resources and assign individual responsibilities.
- Works with product managers to ensure platform meets client needs.
- Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
- Track and report team hours and expenses against budget.
- Analyze contractual obligations, forecast system utilization, project account revenue.
BUSINESS RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Management
- Manage day-to-day client interaction.
- Set and manage to client expectations.
- Foster and seek to deepen strong client relationships.
- Build a knowledge base of each client's business, organization, and objectives.
Financial Management
- Interpret high-level financial data and common business ratios.
- Calculate figures of merit including Cost of capital, IRR, weighted APR.
- Understand basic enterprise payment processing.
- Familiar with the function of enterprise ERP platforms.
- Identify business development opportunities as they relate to a specific project.
Communication
- Facilitate team and client meetings.
- Keep project team well informed of changes within the organization.
- Effectively communicate relevant project information to superiors.
- Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion.
- Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in manual testing to ensure new product deliverables meet client expectations.
- Demonstrate sensitivity to enterprise security requirements.
- Possess general understanding of application programming, database and system design.
- Understand Internet, Intranet, Extranet integration possibilities.
- Communicate business requirements to technical resources and demonstrate awareness of new and emerging technologies.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or Management
Preferred: Postgraduate, PMP certification
Minimum Requirements
The right candidate will be, managing to tight time lines, and motivating heavily taxed resources outside of the organization in a B2B setting. All projects must be leveled against time and resource budgets. The integration work will require strong spreadsheet and database skills.
- 3-5 years of business/project management experience.
- Comfortable presenting a cohesive plan of implementation to Fortune 500 Director level and above.
- Experience working with iterative software/product development processes.
- In-depth project management and technical skills.
- Demonstrated decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Track record of establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Effective written and oral presentation and facilitation skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal associate and clients.
- Experience with wiki software and blog environment to create dynamic project planning tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Mysql-specific query and connectivity skills
- Some financial and payment processing background
- Experience with SRM/CRM system as a user.
- Exposure to enterprise ERP systems (Oracle/Peoplesoft, SAP, etc.)
